According to Earth-AfricaMystic, Isithunywa is the messenger who is governed by the owners of ‘ubunyanga’. Hello!

This article is inspired by our many followers requesting more information on Isithunya – Umthndazi calling. It is one that is very complex to deal with and should be handled with much care. I am going to talk about a few signs and symptoms of this gift as well as how to go about it especially in its early days.

Symptoms/ Signs:

• Dreaming of flying

• Dreaming of Isithunywa regalia (cape and coats)

• You are a prayer warrior

• Constant headaches

• Dreaming of praying

Isithunywa comes in varios categories:

• Using water for divination

• Healing through prayer

• Healing through water (ichibi)

• Counseling and talking to someone about their problem

There are different types of Izithunya:

• St. Johns

• Zion Church

• Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church

• Wesile

People with the Isithunywa calling may experience a love for the ocean, rivers and waterfalls. This is where you long to be. Sometimes when you’re feeling down you visit these places and you begin to feel well. Others like going up the mountain to pray and ask for guidance. If you are gifted with Isithunywa, you find that you meditate and pray a lot. You use or are guided by dreams to use ‘iziwasho’ which are bath salts or ‘ichibi’ which is water that is prayed for. You do get a few who use herbs should they be gifted as ‘igedla’ which a traditional herbalist. Hence, if you are gifted with ‘ubugedla’ you dream of mixing herbs to heal people. People gifted with ‘Isithunywa’ live a very strict and clean lifestyle as the owners of the gift are usually extremely fussy. Hence most people prefer to be healed by ‘Umthandazi’, because of their strict and clean lifestyle;

• They abstain from sexual activity or partake in them very

rarely for reproduction purposes

• Some do not take in any alcohol or smoke

• They fast regularly and live a limited social life

• They are prayerful and mostly religious, a majority attend

the Zion Church, Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church, Wesile Church or the St. Johns church. If you discover you have this calling, you need to meditate and fast as much as possible especially at the beginning of your calling – between 12 -18 months. This is done in order to ensure you leave the things of the world behind so as to enhance the connection between you and your ancestors. You cannot over crowd them with social media, clubbing, partying, sex, smoking, drugs, etc. The ‘Isithunywa’ spirit is not easy to please at all!

They demand your full attention, vigilance and attentiveness at all times in dreams and during the course of your day. They constantly send messages through text you read, visions, while talking to other people, ideas you have, numbers, road signs. Everything and every moment is a message. This is why we meditate or pray before bed. To sit and recollect and properly download messages.

It is a good idea to get a mentor or two and maximum three so you don’t overcrowd your judgement and messages from your ancestors. Keep one or two good friends for a shoulder to lean on. If you find that you are losing friends – the so-be-it. If family don’t support you, well you are the one with the calling, it’s your journey alone and good luck.
