This is where you long to be. Sometimes when you’re feeling down you visit these places and you begin to feel well. Others like going up the mountain to pray and ask for guidance. If you are gifted with Isithunywa, you find that you meditate and pray a lot. You use or are guided by dreams to use ‘iziwasho’ which are bath salts or ‘ichibi’ which is water that is prayed for. You do get a few who use herbs should they be gifted as ‘igedla’ which a traditional herbalist. Hence, if you are gifted with ‘ubugedla’ you dream of mixing herbs to heal people. People gifted with ‘Isithunywa’ live a very strict and clean lifestyle as the owners of the gift are usually extremely fussy. If you discover you have this calling, you need to meditate and fast as much as possible especially at the beginning of your calling – between 12 -18 months. This is done in order to ensure you leave the things of the world behind so as to enhance the connection between you and your ancestors. You cannot over crowd them with social media, clubbing, partying, sex, smoking, drugs, etc. The ‘Isithunywa’ spirit is not easy to please at all!

They demand your full attention, vigilance and attentiveness at all times in dreams and during the course of your day. They constantly send messages through text you read, visions, while talking to other people, ideas you have, numbers, road signs. Everything and every moment is a message. This is why we meditate or pray before bed. To sit and recollect and properly download messages.

It is a good idea to get a mentor or two and maximum three so you don’t overcrowd your judgement and messages from your ancestors. Keep one or two good friends for a shoulder to lean on. If you find that you are losing friends – the so-be-it. If family don’t support you, well you are the one with the calling, it’s your journey alone and good luck.

Some coats you may be instructed to get:

• Blue and yellow your guides

• Blue are the mountain based ancestors

• Yellow these are you maternal ancestors and those of thewater

• Blue and white Are ancestors who use mostly prayer

• Green These are water ancestors

• Maroon for prayer

• White water based ancestors

Capes you may be shown:

• Black and brown for ‘Ubungoma’ and ‘Izithunywa’

• White cape angels

• Yellow maternal ancestors usually ‘aboGogo’

• Blue usually aboMkhulu also for prayer

According to Earth-AfricaMystic, Isithunywa is the messenger who is governed by the owners of ‘ubunyanga’.
