Nokuthula Phakathi is doing it all from being a Gobela, to Media Mogul, businesswoman and charity. If you think her hands are full, you don’t know her heart. Nokuthula is a passionate Gobela who teaches her amaThwasana to be active within the ancestors environment. She also extends her services to the surrounding communities of the Mpumalanga province under her company, uGobela Enterprise. Where she uses herbs to heal her clients. She also runs her NPO, Lamkhaliphi which seeks to empower women and children using EduTainment. Besides her love for helping those around her, ‘Thuli’ is also a budding Entrepreneur and Media Mogul. She is the owner of, Intando_Media (IM), inspired by Ndalo Media which was founded by businesswoman, Khanyi Dhlomo. Under IM, Nokuthula has been able to secure the Credit Ombudsman SA as a long-term client since the year 2012. Here, she offers PR and Marketing services to the Ombudsman. Her duties include; Exhibitions, consumer education, presentations on behalf of the Ombudsman as well as attending to radio and TV interviews. It seems her career alone is not quite enough a challenge on its own. As Nokuthula, also has other businesses under her belt. One being, V-Lash Apparels, which offers uniquely designed and stylish clothing for children of all shapes, ages and heights. She is also the owner of Vegas Hair, a wholesale supplier of human hair and beauty accessories.

Nokuthula, encourages South African consumers to get assistance from the Credit Ombudsman regarding all credit and credit agreement related issues. She added saying, “We assist with issues of; over charging of interest or fees, garnishes, prescription of debts, reckless lending. Debt collection issues as well as if you are unfairly or incorrectly listed with the credit bureaus.” Nokuthula hopes that she too, can be an inspiration to other women as she also gained her inspiration from powerhouse women.
