Let’s make this budget friendly cheesy, mushroom, beef patty burger

INGREDIENTS:

1 pack (6) I&J beef patties

lettuce

1 onion

1 pack (12) parmalat cheese

6 freshly baked burger buns

A cup of roughly chopped Mushrooms

50ml butter

10ml cooking oil

1.5 cup warm water

1.5 cup milk

15ml flour

Salt & pepper

METHOD:

Rinse your lettuce and set aside

Shallow fry your beef patties on low heat on a pan. 5 minutes on each side.

Now caramalise your onion in the same pan

In a separate pan, saute your mushrooms for 5 t0 8 minutes.

In the same pan with the mushrooms still in the pan. Make your sauce:

Add your water and bring to a boil, add your milk and butter and bring to a boil then remove from the heat. Now add your flour and return to a low heat for 5 minutes. For taste, add a pinch of salt and pepper.

Now assemble your burger and serve!
